Canada invited over 2,250 candidates to the all-program Express Entry draw on August 17, 2022. Candidates invited to the draw must have a minimum score of 525.

Following the most recent Canadian Express Entry draw, 2,250 candidates were invited.

Since there was no specific program for this draw, candidates could apply through the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Canadian Experience Class.

Since July 6, 2022, four all-program Express Entry draws have been held, with nearly 7,500 candidates invited. This is the 229th Express Entry draw since the program’s inception. The minimum score was reduced by eight points, while the number of invitations was increased by 250 over the previous one.

Canada issued 2000 invitations in the last Express Entry draw held on 3rd August 2022. The cut-off score for the draw was 533 points.

The IRCC also stated that the applications would be handled in six months and that candidates would have 60 days to submit their applications for Canadian permanent residence.

The draw will use the tie-breaking rule referred to as the rule of December 28, 2021. According to this guideline, the date and time that applicants submitted their applications will be used to break a tie if more than one applicant obtained the lowest score.
